Primary Position Objectives |
Manages and ensures career preparation, career exploration, personal and career counseling, and career transition readiness, ensuring the achievement of DOL mandated performance levels and compliance with the PRH, DOL guidelines, contract specifications, Serrato Corporation policies, and Center or contract operating practices and procedures. This includes interviewing, hiring, counseling, motivating, monitoring, training and evaluating said staff; performing outreach activities in the community; developing referral linkages for admissions; developing companies for assignee placements; serving on program workgroups; marketing the Job Corps program; composing corrective action plans; and monitoring departmental budgets. |

Experience |
Five years in Job Corps Management preferred, other managerial experience considered; five years’ experience working with adolescents/young adults. |
Education |
Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology or social work required. Master’s degree preferred; any waiver of the requirement must be reviewed and approved by the DOL Regional Office. It is required for the employee to consistently pursue such a degree in counseling, psychology, social work under Serrato Corporation’s Tuition Reimbursement Plan. |
